Development of a former Robertson's Preserves factory to create a cider facility for Heineken.
The Challenge
Fast track development delivered under tight deadlines in order to receive the first of harvested apples for milling.

Full design team integrated to ensure this complicated and unique project was successfully completed.

Single point of contact for client during the development of this complicated and fast tracked scheme.
This cider facility was developed as a subsidiary for Heineken under the banner of Universal Beverages.
The parameters of this project were unique. Sensitively managing the needs of a functional factory whilst causing minimal disruption and maintaining the impetus required to complete a successful project were vital.
Meller are proud to have been integral to the delivery of this successful project.

Coors Brewers bewery expansion and refurbishment in Burton-on-Trent.
The Challenge
Coors Brewers remained in full oepration to ensure production levels did not decrease.
The Solution
- Development of Mash filter building
- Refurbishment of the Victorial North Brewhouse
- Installation of 12 fermentation vessels
- Development of detached refrigeration building
The Benefit
Value engineering approach made savings in the region of £1.2million pounds on behalf of Unilever.
Meller have been involved in several expansion and refurbishment projects for Coors Brewers at the Burton on Trent site.
Meller remains involved with Coors Brewers since the merger into Molson Coors UK.
Meller have recently been working on feasibility studies for several blue sky projects.
