Meller’s relationship with Unilever spans over 10 years and covers many logistic projects of varying size and investment.
Meller formed an integral part of delivering “The Ice Cube” (as the facility is known locally). The finished warehouse has a capacity of 72,000 pallets, is temperature controlled at -26C and fully oxygen suppressed.
Meller continue to work with Unilever.

DHL | Cannock
Delivery of a new distribution centre for ambient food goods. This fully automated, high bay distribution facility was finalised 7 weeks early and within budget. A high bay warehouse with floor area of 38,000m2 and 31.5m tall.
It houses 100,000 pallet spaces.
DHL | Doncaster
A new build supplying personal hygiene products within a fully automated, high bay warehouse. An internal fit-out required extra safety features in order to meet the COMAH Regulations, e.g., fire proof pallet chambers, pallet caging and in-rack sprinklers.
This facility provides 66,000 pallet spaces.
DHL | Hams Hall
This minus 28 degree, high bay national distribution centre is able to hold 44,000 pallets for the distribution of frozen goods from the various UK and European manufacturing sites of Birds Eye Wall's.
The site comprises picking and dispatch areas together with full support services.
DHL | Cannock II
Extension Projects. This project delivered a 5,500m2 extension of an original ambient, high bay facility. This project was delivered whilst working in a live environment.
The project increases the facility to 440 pallets per hour and includes an additional 22,000 pallet spaces.
Meller have worked alongside DHL on several projects over the last 10 years.

Complete project management lead by Meller ensured that this high profile and complicated project was delivered to Keystone's exact expectations.
The Benefit
Meller's logistic expertise delivered a successful insurance claim to enable Keystone to secure a state of the art distribution centre.
Meller’s relationship with Keystone Distribution spans many years and many projects.
When Keystone’s distribution centre in Hemel Hempstead was damaged by the blast from the Buncefield Oil Depot Meller were immediately on hand to assist in the insurance claim and oversee the project through to a successful completion.
Meller are currently working with Keystone on several feasibility projects.
