We welcome Thomas Hunt MRICS to Meller as the latest addition to our growing Quantity Surveying team.

Tom joins us from EDGE, bringing over 15 years of industry experience across consultancy, contractor and client-side environments. Throughout his career he has successfully delivered projects ranging from £1 million to over £100 million across the healthcare, residential, retail and education sectors.

A Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) and graduate of Nottingham Trent University, Tom has developed a strong reputation for providing commercially focused advice from project inception through to final account. His expertise spans cost planning, estimating, procurement, contract administration and post-contract cost management, with extensive experience of both NEC and JCT forms of contract.

Healthcare is one of Tom's specialist sectors, having led the commercial delivery of numerous NHS projects, including major acute hospital developments. His work has been recognised through industry awards, including Consultant of the Year for projects delivered at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and Kingsway Hospital.

Prior to joining Meller, Tom held senior positions at EDGE, G F Tomlinson and Faithful+Gould (now AtkinsRéalis), giving him a broad perspective across both consultancy and contracting. This varied experience enables him to understand projects from multiple viewpoints and provide practical, value-driven advice to clients.
